Important Points – The Things You Should Know About
QuestionMine™ is used by CREATORS (people who create and give surveys, polls, quizzes and other projects online) and RESPONDENTS (people who answer/participate those surveys or other projects).
CREATORS:
- Your data is owned by you. QuestionMine™ treats any of your projects (e.g., surveys and polls) as if they were completely private. We don't sell your data to anyone and we don’t use any responses or other data you collect for our own purposes, except in a limited set of circumstances (e.g., if we are compelled by a subpoena or you give us permission to do so).
- Your data is secure with QuestionMine™. Read our Terms of Use for more information.
- Projects may include surveys, polls, quizzes, evaluations, assessments, interactive video surveys and social media (AdViral) campaigns.
- Your survey or any other project data is stored on servers located in the United States and the UK. (VIDEO)
RESPONDENTS:
- All projects are administered by creators. These creators may conduct multiple surveys, quizzes or other projects each day. Our role is to host these projects on our website and then collect the responses that you then are submitting to the project creator. If you have any questions about any of the surveys or other projects that you are taking or participating in, please contact the creator directly as QuestionMine™ is not responsible for the content of a project or any of your responses to it. Most of the times the creator is the same person that invited you to take the survey or participate in any other project. Sometimes they have their own policies, e.g., privacy. Naturally we have no control over those policies.
- Are your responses kept anonymous or does anyone know what you said? The creator has configured the survey or any other project he/she has created. We suggest that you get in touch with the creator to find out.
- Do you sell the responses to any third parties? QuestionMine™ does not sell or share your survey or any other project responses with any third party marketers or advertisers (check with the creator to find out if they do). Our role is merely to act as a custodian on behalf of the survey or any other project creator. The creators control your data.
- Report any illegal activity. If you feel any project violates our Terms of Use or may be engaging in any illegal activity, contact us to report it.
QuestionMine™ is committed to handling your personal information and data with integrity and care. However, regardless of any security protections and precautions we undertake, there is always a risk – as well we all unfortunately recognize – that any data including your personal data may be viewed and used by unauthorized third parties as a result of collecting and transmitting your data through the internet.

Providing responses is voluntary. You are in the driver’s seat. You can choose not to provide an answer to any given question (especially those requesting your personal information or data). Sometimes this may prevent you from completing a survey if the creator has marked that question as requiring an answer. This is your choice in that case.
- How does QuestionMine™ use the information we collect?
Your responses (for example survey or quiz responses) are owned and managed by the creator, and we treat that information as private to the creator. Please contact the creator directly to understand how they will use your responses. Some creators may provide you with a privacy policy or notice at the time you participate in their survey (or other project) and we encourage you to review that policy to understand how the creator will handle your responses.

What are your rights to your information?
- Contact the creator to access your responses. You must contact the creator if you have any questions about the project (i.e., survey), or if you want to access, update, or delete anything in your responses. We only collect responses on behalf of the creators. We provide creators with tools to maintain the responses they collect through their surveys or other projects. QuestionMine™ cannot and will not provide you with this access since responses are the creator's private information.
- Opt out of receiving surveys. You must opt out of receiving email invitations to take surveys which are sent by survey creators via the survey creator and NOT through QuestionMine™.
